Marco Merlis red wine with an international note but at the same time totally connected with its own territory. The nose can sense a classic bordelaise aroma, next to a cigar box, creme de cassis, noble leather, and graphite aromas. We talk about a structured wine with great evolving potential.
The wine is spontaneously fermented for 14-16 days, racked before the malolactic fermentation starts in steel tanks. It is aged in both barrels and bottle, spending 24 months in the barrels before entering an additional 6 months in the bottles themselves.
