Zuschmann Schofmann – Gruner Veltliner Brut Sparkling

Zuschmann Schofmann are a certified organic vineyard in the Weinviertal wine region. Their vineyard is located just 20 minutes drive outside Vienna in the north east of Austria. It is here where rolling hills gently flow from the Czech Republic into the Danube River, far away from the smog of industries and traffic. Else Zuschmann and Peter Schöfmann love their work, producing hand crafted wines using organic farming methods to produce high quality Austrian sparkling and still wines.

Zuschmann Schofmann Gruner Veltliner Classic Brut is an organic sparkling wine. The grapes were handpicked from their vineyards in Martinsdorf in September 2018. After 24 months on lees the wine is released for sale. In the glass it presents a brilliant yellow with golden hues and fine sparkles. On the nose it is fruity with scents of apple and a subtle zest. The mineral palate displays a creamy consistency which persists through an elegant long lingering finish.
