Trevibban Mill – Black Ram 18′

Trevibban Mill Black Ram is produced by a small family run vineyard located within 20 minutes drive of Padstow, Cornwall. Trevibban Mill Vineyard and Orchard make good quality English wine using grape varieties which suit the cool English climate. There is a small cafe style area as part of their cellar door where you can grab a bite to eat with some family and friends and taste their range of wines. Engin, the winemaker, is very knowledgeable and will talk you through the wine tasting, giving you a detailed overview of the vintage and what makes their wine unique. Trevibban Mill Black Ram is a blend of Dornfelder and Rondo, two grape varieties which have German origins. On the nose it presents dark chocolate, baked plums & black pepper. In the mouth you will experience black cherry and black current, combined with structural finesse and good length to the body.

Pair this wine with a steak and ale pie, some ketchup and a side of seasonal roasted vegetables.
