A lovely organic white wine from Aragon in Spain. The family owned Bodegas Tempore are based in the little known wine region of Aragon about 90 minutes north west of Barcelona on route to Rioja.
The grape is 100% Grenache and made without skin contact and spent six months in French oak barrels fermenting, giving the wine a nice body and persistence in the mouth. Expect a well balanced combination of peach and pineapple, combined with a subtle acidic backbone and rounded finish.
If pairing with food I suggest a chicken kiev, oven roasted jersey royals with salt and rosemary and some steamed greens.
