Marras – Swartland Shiraz Cinsault 18

Marras wines is located in South Africa’s Swartland wine region which is just off the Western Cape. The winemaker Martin ‘Marras’ Lamprecht was born and raised in Cape Town and since graduating from the Elsenburg Agricultural Training Institute spent time in the Rhone Valley refining his craft.

Marras – Swartland Shiraz Cinsault 18′ is a smooth red wine. It has aromas of violet and rose petal which combine will with scents of red berries and plum. In the mouth you will experience the same fruit with some smoked spice. Overall it is a very nice wine showcasing both the work of a passionate winemaker and two of South Africa’s red grape varieties which are grown in the Western Cape.
