Italy is one of the oldest wine producing countries in the world with and we’ve decided to honour the worlds largest wine-producing country with this exemplary selection of Italian Red Wines.

2 x Ca’ Vittoria Appassimento Gold Release – A rich, intense, full-bodied red wine with black plum, black cherry, cocoa and vanilla spice notes. Easy drinking and pairs well with red meats, especially roasted meat dishes, and mature cheeses.
2 x Rupe Secca Nero D’Avola – “Nero d’Avola” is the most important red wine grape in Sicily and is one of Italy’s most important indigenous varieties. It is named after Avola in the far south of Sicily. It is frequently compared with New World Shiraz wines due to its sweet tannins and plum or peppery flavours. Intense and smooth red wine, full of ripe red berry aromas and flavours supported by soft tannins. An ideal accompaniment to any tomato based pasta dishes or red meat. Or, perhaps try with Parmigiana aubergines.

2 x Monte del Fra Valpolicella Classico – A rich, intense, spicy, medium bodied dry red wine bursting with red cherry and spice notes. Easy drinking and pairs well with red or white meats, medium mature cheeses and any pasta dish or savoury pizza.
