Now in the hands of Henri’s great grandson, Grégory Gouges, this estate has been in the hands of the same family since 1925, and is regarded as one of the most famous vineyards in the Nuiton area, and has been classified as organic since 2008.

Vineyard’s in Burgundy are relatively small, and this one is no different with a mere 15 hectares under vine. Precision and care are the order of the day, including a careful sorting of the grapes and complete de-steming prior to a cool maceration and fermentation using the naturally occurring yeasts. This slow and careful process results in a complex wine with concentrated flavours and aromas.

Can be drunk now, but will improve with age.
