In the beautiful hills of Val Trebbia lies Case; a small, independent winery. After planting the first vineyards in 1998 and carefully analysing the soil, they saw the potential of growing pinot noir vines and other varieties there.
Casés Pinot Nero is an unfiltered, pleasant red wine with fresh and light characteristics. These are achieved by harvesting grapes from a lower altitude, grown in rich clay-based soil earlier and mixing them with grapes from older vines. The period of maceration is shortened and the wine is aged in steel tanks.
