A dry and elegant wine with a garnet-red colour. Very pleasant and intense, at times spiced, with aromas of truffles, liquorice and dried flowers. As you would expect the wine is strong on the tannis.
The wine spent 20 days in stainless steel fermenting and macerating followed by a malolactic fermentation. Furthermore, the wines coming from different vineyards are aged separately in wooden oak barrels for thirty months before mixed, bottled and aged for an additional six months.
One of the more complex and interesting barolos out there – give it a taste.
